Massachusetts Personal Injury Law Firm
Brandon R. Calton, Esq.
Brandon R. Calton is a Litigation Associate at the Law Offices of Samuel A. Segal, where he represents clients in personal injury cases. Brandon’s practice is focused on plaintiff-side litigation, including helping individuals navigate the complexities of personal injury law, motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, medical negligence, and wrongful death claims. Brandon is committed to helping clients pursue meaningful compensation and justice for their injuries.

Brandon earned his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2023, where he was a member of the Honors Program and earned academic recognition for excellence in legal writing and advocacy. During law school, he gained hands-on litigation experience through clinics and internships that emphasized client representation, courtroom advocacy, and strategic motion practice.

In addition to his academic and clinical work, Brandon was actively involved in the Law School’s LGBTQ+ Alliance, where he supported initiatives promoting inclusion, professional development, and community engagement within the legal profession. His involvement reflected a broader commitment to advocacy, equity, and ensuring that traditionally underrepresented voices are respected and heard within legal institutions.
Following law school, Brandon served as a Trial Attorney with the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), where he represented indigent clients in high-stakes criminal proceedings. In that role, he appeared regularly in court, conducted evidentiary hearings, negotiated case resolutions, and filed and argued motions on behalf of clients whose liberty, livelihoods, and futures were at stake. His work required rigorous preparation, persuasive advocacy, and clear communication with clients navigating stressful and often unfamiliar legal processes.
Brandon’s experience as a public defender directly informs his plaintiff-side practice. He understands the power imbalance individuals often face when confronting insurance companies, corporate defendants, and institutional actors, and he brings a disciplined, trial-ready approach to every case. His representation is grounded in careful preparation, strategic advocacy, and respect for the real-world impact legal disputes have on clients and their families.
Brandon is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, the United States District Court of Massachusetts and the United States District Court of Connecticut. Brandon is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Association, and the Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association.
At the Law Offices of Samuel A. Segal, Brandon combines his diverse legal background to guide plaintiffs through complex legal claims with clarity, persistence, and care, working to achieve just and practical outcomes in every case.
