Happy Holidays from the Law Offices of Samuel A. Segal!
As we celebrate the 2016 holiday season, it is helpful to remember all we can do to give back to our communities. On November 30, 2016, attorney Segal volunteered in the annual WBZ Call for Action. The Call for Action is a radio program hosted by Dan Rea with Massachusetts Bar Association Jeffrey Catalano serving as a guest on the program. Volunteer attorneys work a phone bank for listeners to call in and ask legal questions at no charge. Attorney Segal brought his skills from the monthly Dial-a-Lawyer program at the Massachusetts Bar Association to help members of our community struggling with various legal problems and looking for solutions.
Attorney Segal also spent the afternoon on December 18, 2016 volunteering at the annual Christmas in the City event. Christmas in the City is a non-profit organization that brings holiday cheer and gifts to the children and their parents in our community who face the uncertainties of homelessness, poverty, and life in a shelter. Volunteers help organize and carry gifts for the kids and their parents, and a tremendous amount of fun was had by all.
As we look back on 2016 and forward to 2017, please remember to give back what you can to the communities that allow us to live, grow, and thrive.
