Giving Back at WBZ's Call for Action
On Wednesday, November 29, 2017 attorney Samuel A. Segal volunteered with the Massachusetts Bar Association at WBZ for the annual Ask A Lawyer event as part of the station’s Call for Action program. Hosted by WBZ NewsRadio’s NightSide’s Dan Rea, the program featured MBA President Christopher P. Sullivan as a special guest while attorney Segal and other volunteers took calls from Massachusetts residents seeking free legal advice on a confidential line.
“Many people cannot afford a lawyer or don’t know where to turn, and the Massachusetts Bar Association and our partners at WBZ NewsRadio, WBZ-TV and WBZ Call for Action are committed to closing this justice gap through the Ask A Lawyer program,” said Sullivan. “With just one phone call, our volunteers provide a much-needed helping hand to those who are facing critical legal issues at home or in the workplace.”
Attorney Segal remains committed to giving back to our community by providing pro bono services to help people deal with legal issues they wouldn’t otherwise be able to.
