The Law Day of Action on 5/1/25 was an incredible gathering of attorneys, judges, clerks, and legal professionals reaffirming their oaths to the US and MA State Constitutions. Speakers included the Mass Bar Association Vice President Samuel A. Segal; MBA President Victoria Santoro; Boston Bar Association President Matt McTygue; MA Black Women Attorney's President Tara Dunn; MA Black Lawyer's Association President-Elect Theresa Wilson Coney; and our recently-retired SJC Chief Clerk Maura Doyle. A big thank you goes out to all of our co-sponsor bar associations as well!

We couldn't be prouder of the Massachusetts Bar Association for hosting this event as part of a national effort to show support for the Rule of Law, Due Process, Access to Justice, the Right to Hire an Attorney, and the Right of Attorneys to Represent all clients: even those deemed undesirable by the people in power.

This honors our Massachusetts Founding Father John Adams, who famously represented the British Soldiers who fired on revolutionaries at the Boston Massacre. President Adams knew that every person, even those who were likely guilty, deserved their day in Court, and the MBA is proud to honor that legacy. At the Law Offices of Samuel A. Segal, we will continue to fight for every person's right to hire attorneys, access the Courts, and obtain due process with equal protection under the law.
